Dear friend of the Young Life Community,
Each year, Young Life of Canada commits to a Week of Prayer, this year it will take place from Tuesday, February 27th through to Monday, March 4th.
We are inviting anyone who would like to participate in this week of prayer(our committees, donors, campaigners, family and friends) to join us. In this season, there is seemingly no shortage of things to pray for. We are grateful that we get to lift our voices to a good God and trust Him to move among us.
This year, we are embracing a new format, with a focus on Spiritual Practices. We are hoping that as a community, we can all commit to building some new 'muscles' in our spiritual formation, to challenge ourselves and one another to try something new in this season of Lent.
We've created a Landing Page for you to explore several practices and to participate in one (or more!) during our week of Prayer.
An Opportunity to Gather
In order to foster community and camaraderie in this effort, we will host community Zoom calls on four of the seven days. These are intended to gather others who are participating in these practices for a time of sharing and support; to provide accountability and partnership in this effort.
These calls will be 20-30 minutes in length and will be hosted on the following days: Wednesday, February 28th Thursday, February 29th Friday, March 1 Monday, March 4
